Occupational Therapist – Cognitive and motor rehabilitation to promote well-being and participation in daily life.
After several years of experience as a Personal Trainer, both in the gym and at home, I decided to combine my passion for physical training with my interest in psychology, finding in Occupational Therapy the ideal meeting point.
In 2024, I graduated in Occupational Therapy from the University of Milan, with a thesis dedicated to the Gentlecare model for the care of people with dementia. During my university studies, I completed internships in various clinical facilities in Milan, strengthening my expertise in the geriatric and neurological fields.
I also attended several training courses on Alzheimer’s disease and the Gentlecare model, consolidating a solid theoretical and practical background.
After graduation, I began a professional experience in a hospital setting, working with patients affected by dementia, neurological disorders, coma, and vegetative state, focusing on cognitive and motor rehabilitation.
Who I work with
- Patients with neurological conditions;
- Patients with dementia;
- People with motor limitations that reduce independence and participation in daily activities.
The relationship as the essence of the therapeutic approach
When I take on a patient, I place great value on the relationship and the human connection.
I believe that establishing authentic emotional reciprocity and building a meaningful connection represents the heart and most fascinating aspect of this profession.
Through active listening, understanding the person’s occupational history, and recognizing what truly matters to them, it becomes possible to design a personalized therapeutic plan that supports the achievement of the best possible outcomes.
Sense of competence, autonomy, and participation in daily life
My goal is to support and enhance each person’s sense of competence through meaningful activities, giving value to what is important to them.
I work to preserve and expand remaining autonomy, promoting participation in everyday occupations and, in doing so, fostering a greater level of inclusion and social engagement.
