Integrated Physiotherapy and Personalized Approach: My Working Method
I graduated in Physiotherapy in 2002 at the University of Insubria in Varese. From the very beginning, I developed a strong interest in orthopedics, which led me to pursue postgraduate training in manual therapy based on the Maitland concept, postural analysis and movement dysfunctions according to the Sahrmann method, and neurodynamics following Butlerโs approach.
For more than 10 years I have been treating pelvic floor dysfunctions, both female and male, an area in which I continue to update my expertise. I have also attended courses in lymphatic drainage, lymphatic taping, and elastic compression bandaging, which are very useful tools in managing lymphatic and vascular conditions.
A growing interest: chronic pain
In recent years, I have felt the need to deepen my knowledge of chronic pain, particularly in relation to complex conditions such as:
- non-specific low back pain
- fibromyalgia
- chronic pelvic pain
To better address these situations, I am integrating the latest scientific evidence with a holistic approach. For this reason, I am currently attending a three-year program in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Milan, to broaden my therapeutic perspective and offer truly comprehensive and personalized care.
My approach: listening, knowledge, and autonomy
From over twenty years of clinical experience, I have developed a method that always begins with a careful functional assessment and with deep listening to the patient, considering not only the physical component but also the psychological and social aspects that can affect health and quality of life.
The treatment is therefore personalized and may include:
- manual techniques
- specific therapeutic exercises
- strategies for maintaining long-term benefits independently
Teamwork
Working at the Centro Polispecialistico Paradiso offers me the valuable opportunity to collaborate with a team of highly qualified doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, with whom I share perspectives and approaches, to ensure patients receive effective, comprehensive, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs.
